HOW TO BOOK YOUR VAN

Booking a van with Pontypridd Van Hire is quick, simple, and completely hassle-free. Whether you prefer to book online or speak to us directly, the whole process takes just a few minutes.

  • 1. Choose Your Van

    Browse our fleet and pick the van size that best suits your job.


    Not sure which one you need? Just ask - we’ll point you in the right direction.

  • 2. Book Online or Contact Us

    You can reserve your van in two ways:


    Book Online: Use our secure online booking system (powered by Booqable).


    Contact Us: Call or message us, and we’ll confirm availability and pricing for your dates.


    To secure your booking, full payment is made at the time of booking.

  • 3. Provide Your Details

    We’ll take the essential information needed for insurance and hire purposes.


    This includes your name, address, driving licence details, and hire dates.

  • 4. Complete Your Paperwork

    On the day of hire, you’ll sign the rental agreement and complete a quick condition check of the van with us.


    This only takes a couple of minutes.


    A £150 refundable security deposit is taken when you book the van.

  • 5. Collect Your Van

    Pick up your van from our Pontypridd base.


    We’ll walk you through the controls, answer any questions, and ensure you’re comfortable before driving away.


    Then you’re good to go!

  • 6. Return the Van

    Bring the van back at the agreed time, with the same fuel level and in the same condition.


    Once inspected, we’ll refund your security deposit.


    Simple.

  • Photocard licence
  • Must have been held for at least 2 years
  • Valid and in date

Proof of Address

One of the following dated within the last 3 months:

  • Utility bill
  • Bank statement
  • Council tax letter
  • Official correspondence

DVLA Licence Check Code (If Requested)

You can generate this online at www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence.

This allows us to verify your licence details.

For Commercial Vehicle Use (Business Hire)

If you’re hiring for commercial purposes, please bring:

  • Operator’s Licence, where applicable (Only required for certain commercial uses that fall under O-Licensing rules.)
